It's already December and I have no idea where this year has gone. We just took the girls today to have a Christmas picture taken. R, on the left, is now 7 and in 2nd grade. She is a breath of fresh air. We like to say she marches to her own beat. She is always so fun, and is the kindest person I have ever met. L, in the middle, is 4.5 and in pre-K. She is Miss Independent, which can be maddening one minute and completely endearing the next. We love to hang out together during the day when big sissies are in school. J, on the right, is 9 and in 3rd grade. She is 100% girl and likes to tell me I'm not fancy enough. I am sure her closet will be full of funky dresses and high heels in about 10 years. She is growing up so fast and likes to tell me that she is a tween now. Haha. As I tell her all the time, she'll always be my baby, even when she's an old lady.We are excited to be getting ready for another Christmas together. After Christmas, J and R will be starting their springtime gymnastics meets. This will be J's second year competing and R's first. They've been working so hard on their routines. I love going to the meets and cheering them on. J is so excited that she can finally do a round-off back-handspring with no spotter. R can almost do a back-handspring by herself. Then later in the spring they will have their dance recital. This is L's first year and I'm not sure what to expect. Will she actually walk out on the stage? I have no idea! I'm sure they'll all do great, and I'll be sitting in the audience crying my eyes out like I always do. :)
Have a blessed Christmas and New Year!
