Summer is halfway over already!

I'm so behind in posting. Life with three growing girls is amazing and BUSY! J and R have had soccer and swimming for the past month, but next week we will be done with those activities and enjoy the rest of the summer. R turned 6 a few weeks ago. What a sweetheart she is! As little L is growing up, though (turned 3 in the spring), R is getting more and more frustrated with her role as the middle child. I'm looking forward to the routine of school in the fall. J and R will both go to school full time now. They are going into 2nd and 1st grade. L will start preschool...if I can get her to go. She has terrible separation anxiety. She's definitely mommy's girl through and through. We are going to the beach in a few weeks with dh's family. This is the first time the girls will see the ocean. They are so excited...they made us bring suitcases up from the basement so they could start packing. We really don't need to pack yet, though! LOL. I told them they can't pack any clothes yet though because we'll need those before the trip. It's hard to reign in their spirit sometimes, so I don't even try! It's a losing battle.

Xin Nian Kuai Le!!
Happy Chinese New Year!! We decided to go to our favorite Chinese restaurant to celebrate. The evening started out so nicely...until L had a peepee accident right on her chair! I didn't have any extra clothes, so I sopped up the pee with napkins and put them in a grocery bag. Then I took her to the bathroom and put her wet underclothes in a bag and just kept her dress on. It was wet, but not too bad. During dessert, she tried to jump on my lap and I didn't want to get pee on my clothes, so I reached up to catch her and knocked my whole glass of iced tea in my lap. After that, we made a quick but not so graceful exit. Sigh....well, our intentions were good anyway. :) Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day, too! I am so blessed to have my three funny valentines!!
SNOW DAYS!!!!
Well, we've had two big snowstorms in a week. The girls enjoyed having a couple days off from school. I enjoyed it, too, except for the cabin fever. We tried to get outside to play as much as we could. FUN! And with all the snow, we could relax and shovel the driveway knowing that L couldn't run out into the street with all the deep snow. :)
