Baby L isn't such a baby anymore at 16 months old now. We were just notified this morning that we received our final ruling in Taiwan. L is part of our family now! We might be delayed to travel because there are some glitches with our agency transfer. We're hoping any delays are minimal...dare I hope we might still be on for October? I'm not going to let myself look at baby Halloween costumes just yet.
We had some things happen that have caused us to make the decision that my husband will travel alone. I will be so sad not to be there for those first days, but it's for the best. And, it's only for a week, and then we'll all be together forever. We're getting so excited!

- 7/28/03 - adopted 8 mo. old J from China

- 6/02/06 - LID for baby in China
- 9/20/07 - Saw 4 mo. old baby L on agency's Taiwan waiting child list
- 9/25/07 - Signed commitment contract for L
- 1/18/08 - received preapproval to adopt L
- 1/30/08 - received contracts/POA for L's adoption
- 6/2/08 - dossier received by L's orphanage
- 6/6/08 - documents submitted to Taiwan court
- 6/16/08 - sent L a care package
- 7/16/08 - court hearing for L
- 8/11/08 - civil ruling for L!!
- 9/4/08 - final ruling for L!!!
- 9/30/08 - Baby L's adoption day!!!
- 8/09 - withdrew from China process - our family is COMPLETE with 3 beautiful girls!!!!!
